We abuse land because we regard it as a commodity belonging to us. When we see land as a community to which we belong, we may begin to use it with love and respect.
Take care of the earth and she will take care of you.

ReplyDeleteI like some of the statements you've wrote. An example of them is "You're not an environmentalist,you are an earth warrior". Yes,indeed,I agree with that. We are all warriors of our Earth,where we fight to protect the Earth from being further polluted and destructed. We don't have to be environmentalists to protect our Earth. A simple act such as reduce the use of plastic or do not litter can make you an Earth warrior too!
Another example is "We do not inherit the Earth from our ancestor,we borrow it from our children". It is in fact so true! People tend to take things for granted. They do not think they have the responsibility to take care of our Earth. If we change our mindset,knowing that our children,grandchildren and future generations are going to live on this same Earth planet as well,we might be reminded on our responsibility to keep and maintain our Earth healthy for our generation.
